We still have snow in Truckee, up in the mountains. A lot of snow. Headed up for a bit to work on things at the cabin and to point my camera at something different for a while. Here you can see the snow sheds doing their job keeping snow off of the train tracks in the Sierra Nevadas up towards the Summit.
Snow is piled high everywhere. On the left behind that first pole you can see the top of a road sign barely peeking out.
Donner Lake is still partially covered with ice. The clouds were beautiful on this clear day today. Spring is on the way, but it is taking it’s sweet time. I hope you have no snow to shovel this late in the season.
